TapYou

Terms of Service

Last updated: 15 September 2026

TapYou is operated by BSI3Q LLC, a limited liability company registered in Florida, USA (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using TapYou you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

TapYou lets you build a digital business card, share it by QR code, NFC tag or link, and collect contact details that people choose to share back with you. Some features use AI to read a photo of a paper card or to draft a follow-up message; those results are drafts for you to review, and you are responsible for what you send.

Your account

You need an email address and a password. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you may not use TapYou if we are barred from providing it to you under applicable law.

Your content

Everything you put on your card — your name, photo, logo, company details, greeting — stays yours. You give us permission to store it and to show it to people who open your card, which is the point of the service. You are responsible for having the right to use what you upload, including any logo. Do not use TapYou to impersonate someone else, to publish someone’s details without their agreement, or for anything unlawful.

Contacts people share with you

When someone fills in “Share your contact back”, or when you scan a paper card you were given, those details land in your inbox. You are the one who decides what to do with them, so under data protection law you are the controller of that information and we process it for you. Use it for the purpose it was given — following up on a meeting — and honour any request to be deleted. You can delete any entry at any time, and export everything as a CSV file.

Free and paid plans

The free plan is genuinely free and has limits on cards, languages, statistics and AI features; the current limits are shown in the app. The Pro plan is billed monthly or yearly through Stripe and renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not refund partial periods unless the law requires it. If you cancel or a payment fails, your card pages stay online but you return to the free limits.

Availability

We aim to keep TapYou running and fast, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change or remove features; if a change materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we will tell paying customers by email first.

Ending the agreement

You may delete your account at any time by writing to us; we will remove your cards and inbox. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, is used to harm others, or exposes us to legal risk, and we will tell you why unless we are prevented from doing so.

Liability

TapYou is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date above shows when they last changed, and we will notify account holders by email of anything significant. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA.
